This is to inform the academic community, authorities relevant (INC INC La Libertad and national) of the systematic predation is being done at the Archaeological Complex "Cerro La Virgen." Located in the District of Huanchaco, La Libertad Department.
The accompanying photographs are testimony to how this archaeological complex has been used as a quarry for construction aggregate (gravel, sand., stone) -
For reasons of time, I failed to report it to the INC for freedom, but well, this missive comes to e mails Archaeologists working in that institution. I do not think they expect a complaint to go to inspect the site.
As you can see the panel where indicated the name of the archaeological site has been painted white. Could it be that was liberated by a CIRA?
Much of the archaeological area has already been completely devastated as you can see in the pictures where they are installed deep quarries.
