"Not that there is bad history but badly told. " This phrase is constantly repeated to me since I started my career as a tour guide. Always tried to make palatable the technical terms of the archaeological literature, so my potential passengers to better understand natural and cultural history of these valleys.
In 2006, spend a short stay in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and thanks to a program of free tours organized by the City Government in question I know a little about the history Gaucha. The interesting thing is that the tour guides apart from a cultural background had good visual material helped to better understand and interpret the themes touched on the different outputs. Thus, during the two and half months, which was the time of my visit, "formed a group of constant visitors and you are always expected with pleasure to our guide" Lalo. " No doubt, "Lalo" was a professional and as an added value apart, was a Guide Interpreter, which set him apart to leagues a conventional tourist guide.
Tourism in northern Peru, as I mentioned in a previous article, is still in its infancy, which gives certain advantages to learn from the mistakes in the south of our country and better prepare all the elements to ensure consolidation of the various tourism products that will be occurring in the so-called "Route Moche." Thus, the Archaeological Project "Temples of the Sun and the Moon" organized 02 courses consecutively oriented workshop for Tourist Guides and goes by a third party to develop at the end of March this year. The course workshop aimed Heritage Interpretation the validation of the script of the tourism product Moche Temples "gave us the theoretical basis for preparing a Guion Base, which obviously can be applied (schematically) to the products and tourist destinations where tourists guide to exercise its functions. Heritage Interpretation is summarized in the art of explaining and to discover the heritage of an educational and fun to instruct and Educate the visitor heritage conservation. The methodology of the Heritage Interpretation is a value added of the 38 guides workshop participants in this course, the actors involved in the consolidation of the Tourism Product "Moche Temples." No surprise future visitors to the Temples of Sun and Moon and his new Museum Guides are interpreters of the heritage that make a difference - in the long term - in other tourism products. From this rostrum
